Announcement!! 1/5
Grades are due this Friday!! There were four (4) major pieces this marking period - comparative essay, argumentative essay on sports, argumentative essay on another topic, and an argumentative/positional project. You should know whether you submitted your assignments or not but if you are unsure, please double-check with myself and try to get it in by Thursday for some credit. Next marking period, I will NOT be as lenient. Going forward, if you miss the due date you will get a zero (0)!
***Also note that you now have accounts on Engrade. Check your school e-mail for your login information, click the link or visit Engrade.com, change your password to something you will remember and you will be able to access your grade going forward. If you have trouble logging in or if you have not received an e-mail from Engrade, please let me know.***
Please note the new notebook check procedures. We will be checking your notebook everyday going forward to ensure you are completing the classwork. A check + = full credit (100) for the day, a check = partial credit (75-90), and a check - = no credit (0). Your credits will be counted the end of each week for your classwork grade for that week. This is an easy way to boost your grade if you complete the tasks assigned! Let's make this new year and marking period a successful one!
